Custom Video Packages

For some clients we produce
highly customized packages for distribution to specialized
audiences or media outlets. An example is a half-hour TV special
on savings education we distributed to cable stations for
the American Savings Education Council.
First, we sent a solicitation package
to 2,000 leading cable systems with a storyboard and promo
piece on the TV special. The half-hour program had PSAs embedded
in the program and stations could replace any two PSAs in
the special with paid local spots. |

| As this graph shows, the half-hour
program generated in excess of $2 million in advertising support
roughly 40% of overall TV value. |

| Another specialized
package we distributed for the Internal Revenue Service used video programming that it had produced for other purposes and
they wanted to see if they could get additional mileage from the
materials. |
In addition to two PSAs in
the standard spot lengths of less than a minute, we included
two video pieces - one of which ran 1:30 and the other 13:30
in length, along with B-roll that stations could use in
developing news stories on tax-related subjects.
To distribute this material,
we wrote, designed and produced a special cable video package
called CABLE TAXPAK. It included a booklet descibing
the video pieces, a special crack and peel label for the
exterior of the package ,and an evaluation response card. |
