The series of eight TV PSAs unite two icons of American television and film, Patty Duke and Star Trek’s George Takei who encourage the public to Boldly Go to www.socialsecurity.gov to apply for retirement, disability, Medicare, and other benefits. All but one of the PSAs promote Social Security’s easy-to-use online services, which allow people to apply online from the convenience of any computer, while No Check Go Direct promotes direct deposit, which is the fast, easy, and secure way to receive Social Security benefits.
